BMAC Bowling Intercompany Tournament 2024!
Great Friday afternoon on 05 July 2024 it was!
34 teams across 18 companies from the Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Advisory Council competed at the BMAC Bowling Intercompany Tournament held at Singapore Bowling @ Rifle Range. Over 200 participants and supporters turn up for the tournament!
Donning their company jerseys, it was a common sight to also see participants bringing their bowling gears. Everyone was motivated to perform their best through the tournament.
The winning positions went to the following teams:
- Champion Team: MSD (2360 pins)
- First Runners Up: Pfizer (2346 pins)
- Second Runners Up: Sanofi (2259 pins)
- Fourth Position: Roche (2197 pins)
- Fifth Position: AbbVie (2032 pins)
The top male bowler was awarded to John Katon from Sanofi and the top female bowler went to Constance Loke from MSD.
We definitely could feel the competitiveness and energy coming from the participants. And yet it was all smiles at the end as we congratulate the winners. Hereby, we would like to express our appreciation to all the participants for your sportsmanship at the game. Thank you all and let’s look forward to more BMAC activities!!
PDA Pharma Career Day 2024
On 09 March 2024, Biopharmaceutical Manufacturer’s Advisory Council (BMAC) took part in PDA Pharma Career Day 2024, which is organized by PDA Singapore Chapter and supported by Workforce Singapore. The event aims to connect emerging talents with industrial partners and introduce career opportunities within the pharmaceutical industry in Singapore to tertiary students and mid-careerists.
Eight participating companies from BMAC, comprising of Alcon, Amgen, BioNTech, Lonza, MSD, Novartis, Roche and Takeda came together with EDB to support this event. Participants had a meaningful time understanding the biomedical science landscape in Singapore while interacting with companies at their dedicated booths.
BMAC continues to strive to make the Biopharmaceutical industry an attractive one for the next generation and make a difference in the health and lives of people.

We trained, we came, we bowled, and we had a great time!
35 teams across 18 companies from the Biopharmaceutical Manufacturer’s Advisory Council competed at the BMAC Bowling Intercompany Tournament held at Singapore Bowling @ Rifle Range on 3 November 2023.
Wearing on their company jerseys and bringing their professionals gears, every bowler played with upmost dedication and focus throughout the tournament.
The winning positions went to the following teams:
- Champion Team: Lonza 1
- First Runners Up: Sanofi API
- Second Runners Up: MSD 1
- Fourth Position: Abbott 1
- Fifth Position: f(X) Roche
The top male bowler was awarded to John Katon from Sanofi API and the top female bowler went to Aryanty from Novartis.
With beaming smiles and a big thumbs up, the energy and excitement could be felt amongst everyone present! Once again, congratulations to all the participants for your sportsmanship at the game!
Here in the Biopharmaceutical Manufacturer’s Advisory Council, we believe in promoting opportunities for partnership, interactions and collaboration between BMAC companies – both in and out of work.
After a 3 year hiatus, the long awaited BMAC Intercompany Bowling Tournament is back! Held on 3 November 2023, 18 companies from BMAC and JTC will be coming together for a friendly competition at Singapore Bowling @ Rifle Range.
They will be challenging each other to win the Champion Trophy as well as Top Male and Female Bowler. Stay tuned for the results and all the best to the participating companies!
From July 3rd to July 13th, 2023, we organized the highly anticipated BMAC Futsal Cup 2023 at AbbVie’s futsal pitch. The level of enthusiasm displayed by the 14 participating teams was simply incredible!
A total of 26 exciting matches took place, and as we approached the semi-finals and finals, the intensity reached new heights.
JTC also generously sponsored us, for this year’s BMAC Futsal Cup. Thank you very much, JTC.
To capture the spirit of the BMAC Futsal Cup 2023, we have put together a captivating video showcasing the 14 participating teams, as well as the champion-Lonza , first runner-up-Novartis, and second runner-up-GSK.
BMAC’s annual futsal competition will be held in the month of JULY 2023. The matches will be conducted at AbbVie’s futsal pitch from 3rd to 13th July. Sport, as we all know, refreshes both the body and the mind, a fact that should not be overlooked as people and companies plan for the future. Sport also brings people together on a familiar playing field with rules they can all understand and outcomes they can all respect. Good sportsmanship establishes bridges between communities and friendships within them. #futsal
The last BMAC Futsal Tournament was held from 17th to 27th June, 2019. The champion was GSK @ Pioneer, with Takeda as the first runner-up and MSD as the second runner-up. #bmac #bmacsingapore
